Questions
FAQ
How far ahead do I need to order?
Everyday preorders need 48 hours. Friday bake and Friday delivery items need to be in by Wednesday. Customer and employee appreciation boxes need 20 boxes and a month’s notice. A 2-week rush is extra.
Where and when is pickup?
Pickup is Wednesday–Friday near McQueen & Guadalupe in Gilbert. You choose email or text at checkout. The street address and time come in that confirmation. Please don’t arrive before it arrives.
Do you deliver?
Yes, for orders of $100 or more. Within 10 miles of our Gilbert kitchen delivery is free. 10–20 miles is $10. Farther than 20 miles is pickup only. Friday is the usual delivery day.
Why can’t I choose shipping?
Perishable foods are not eligible for shipping — bread, bagels, muffins, cream cheese, butter, jam, cookies, and gift boxes. Shipping is only for olive oil, dipping blends, pancake mixes, and extracts, and only if that’s the entire cart.
Can I mix flavors?
Classic bagel 6-packs can mix and match. Specialty bagels (Blueberry, Pumpkin Spice, French Toast, Pretzel) must be a 6-pack of the same flavor. Bread boxes let you choose different loaves, blends, and jams or butter. Cream cheese flavors are sold by the tub. Build-your-own baskets can mix almost anything we bake that week.
How long does the bread stay good?
Eat sourdough and yeast breads within 2–3 days at room temperature, wrapped or in a bread bag. Cream cheese and cultured butter stay refrigerated and should be used within about a week of pickup. Jams, dips, mixes, oil, and extracts are pantry items — keep dips and extracts sealed; refrigerate any dip after you mix it with water and oil.
How do I reheat bread or bagels?
Loaves: sprinkle the crust with a little water and warm in a 350°F oven 8–12 minutes. Slices toast well. Bagels and English muffins are best split and toasted. Cinnamon rolls: a few minutes in a warm oven until soft.
Can I freeze it?
Yes. Slice loaves before freezing so you can take what you need. Bagels, muffins, cookies, and scones freeze well in a tight bag. Thaw at room temperature or toast from frozen. Don’t freeze cream cheese or cultured butter.
How do appreciation boxes work?
One box can be labeled for customers or employees. It starts at $45 and includes shredded paper, a tailored thank-you card, and a business card. Add jams, dips, and olive oil at menu prices, or a 3D printed gift card holder or refrigerator magnet starting at $5 each. Logo printing, delivery, and a 2-week rush are extra. Gift cards must be prepaid. Minimum 20 boxes, a month ahead, and a 50% deposit. Call to check what is available.
Can an office breakfast include coffee?
Yes. Coffee is by the box, each box serves 8–10 people, and the cups are included. Plates and napkins are $20 for 10 guests. Breakfast food starts at $8 a person.
How do I pay?
New customers prepay with a Square invoice by email. Repeat customers can use Square, PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. Choose your method at checkout.
What allergens are in the food?
We clearly flag wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and sesame. All products are made in a home kitchen that is not subject to public health inspection, so cross-contact is possible. See the Allergen page for details by ingredient.
What if I need to cancel or change an order?
Message us on WhatsApp or email as soon as you can. Because we bake to order, we may not be able to refund after the dough is mixed. We’ll always try to move a pickup day if the calendar allows.
