About Bread Therapy & Co.
Where creating is my therapy
Life can get hectic, stressful, and sometimes just plain overwhelming. For me, the kitchen is where everything slows down.
Working with bread is therapeutic. There’s something about getting my hands into the dough, learning how it changes through fermentation, and watching a few simple ingredients become something completely different that makes me happy.
That’s where Bread Therapy & Co. began.
But somewhere along the way, I realized my therapy was about much more than bread. It’s about creating, learning, experimenting, and discovering what I can make next.

Always learning. Always creating.
I love exploring the flavors and foods of different cultures, learning new styles of cooking and baking, and then bringing those ideas and techniques back into my own kitchen.
I’m fascinated by fermentation, preservation, traditional foodways, and the methods people around the world have used for generations to transform simple ingredients into something incredible.
Fermentation has been part of my family’s life for a long time. I’ve been making wine with my family for over 20 years, and it has become a yearly tradition.
That same fascination continues into sourdough, pickles, kimchi, jams, cultured butter, and dry seasoning blends.
I even make my own vanilla and anise extracts, aged for a minimum of one year. Shop extracts. And sometimes it means a batch of homemade soy sauce that’s now three years in the making. Yes, three years.
Some things can be created in an afternoon. Others require days, weeks, months, or even years. Sometimes, time is one of the most important ingredients.
Made from scratch means something to me
Whenever possible, I want to understand how something is made rather than simply buying it already made. That’s part of the adventure.
It usually starts with one simple question: How is this made, and can I learn to make it myself?
The best part is sharing it
Seeing someone come back for something they loved, or hearing how their family enjoyed it, makes the hours in the kitchen worth it. There’s something special about creating something by hand and knowing it’s going home to someone else’s table.
More than bread
Bread Therapy & Co. may have started with bread, but it is also cultured butter, jams, fermentation, herbs, extracts, seasonings, and whatever comes next.
